Isn’t this Intuition stuff just silly nonsense?
Depends on your perspective, doesn’t it? Think of it this way: maybe, for some reason, you do not have the ability to see road-signs. Maybe nobody told you they mattered. And then one day you decided to walk across the nice looking path with two metal bars passing thru it - unfortunately just as the noon express came along.
“Hit by a train” – right?
Life is constantly providing us with information to help us pick the best path, avoid disasters, and heal past injuries. Intuition is the skill of perceiving this information, separating it from all the other noise, and making sense out of it. Some people call intuition our sixth sense. Intuition is what makes you turn to see someone looking at you. And intuition is what tells you to step back – just before the train passes by.
Learning to listen to yourself – your intuition – I believe, is critical to your ability to be healthy and your ability to heal.
Okay, what’s this Energy stuff?
These are tough questions! Consider this: Leading experts in the study of consciousness believe that every movement you make, every word you say, affects everything around you. How powerful would it be if each and every movement you made was the most positive, healthy one possible?
Seems awfully simple to do – so why don’t we?
The answer is because in the field of energy medicine it’s believed that we are comprised of a complex array of energy systems. The premise is when each energy system is healthy and when they are all working together – each moment – each movement – manifests as a flower in time. But when these systems are out of balance, at cross purposes, and interfere with each other, it results in disease – energetically and often physically.
Working with energy systems is a skill and an art. It requires a rock solid grounding, absolute neutrality, and the highest level of integrity. Among my first objectives is to guide my clients to a place where they can access the qualities needed to work with their own energy systems. I believe that everyone is their own best healer.
When working with energy systems, they are not used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any medical problem or psychological disorder nor are they a substitute for seeking professional health care advice. Energy systems are designed to work with your subtle energy body.
Very well. How does one go about healing Energy Systems?
Seriously? You ask that? That’s a big question!
But it has a simple answer. I believe every spirit seeks healing. Simply setting the intention to heal is an important step to set in motion for healing energy systems. While it’s not possible to provide any guarantees, my services are designed to help my clients set their intention using guided imagery during session meditations.
When you say you work with guided imagery, what do you mean?
Maybe this will help: in the early 70’s, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She was overcome with the grief of knowing that her body was out of control and ill. Her radiologist referred her to Jan Bergman, a cancer support caregiver. Jan taught my mother to use guided imagery for self-healing using exercises where she would imagine her body fighting cancer cells and winning the battle.
My mother practiced this method twice a day for several months. The night before her surgery, my mother saw one of the tumors disintegrate. The next day in surgery, even though radiology showed two separate tumors, the surgeons only found one. My mother regained her full health and lived a healthy life into her 90’s with no reoccurrence.
You can make what you wish from this. I know that my mother’s participation in her healing gave her a positive attitude and helped her set an intention to heal. I have no doubt that this was no small part of her successful therapy. This experience helped me develop my own strategy for healing through guided meditations using imagery to help the spirit focus healing energy using one’s own wisdom and strength.
How much will this cost?
My current fees for established clients is $150 for an hour long session. First sessions may be as long as 1 hour and a half in length. The fee for a 90-minute long session is $225.
Additional information on pricing and office policies are available here.
How long is a session?
Sessions are usually around an hour long.
The length of your first session will be determined in your new client consultation with Dee.
How many sessions will be necessary?
In my experience, specific goals and intentions are sometimes achieved in 2-6 sessions. But in many cases, there are layers of healing required. Each one reveals itself in its own time. So it’s not possible to know how many sessions will be necessary. In truth, we all are continually in a state of healing. I will be with you on your journey for as long as you like.
